The Ugandan Embassy in Saudi Arabia has welcomed Maqsoodul Alam Khandaker Khorshed, Team Leader of Team Khorshed and Councilor of 13th Ward of Narayanganj City Corporation for conducting humanitarian activities during the Corona pandemic situation.

On Wednesday (February 23) at noon, the Consulate's Personal Secretary Mohammad Isaac Senoga welcomed Maqsoodul Alam Khandaker Khorshed at the Uganda Consulate in Jeddah's Consulate Area Prince Mohammed bin Abdul Aziz Road.

There, Khorshed exchanged views with the Consulate and Commonwealth Club Ambassador Abdullah Al Judi.

Meanwhile, Consulate Abdullah Al Judi offered on Bangladeshis to use Ugandan land to invest in agriculture and housing. He directed Councilor Khorshed and his associates to be issued visas for travel to Uganda.

Councilor Khorshed told the Consulate that he would soon visit Uganda and brief the Narayanganj Chamber of Commerce and Industries on business in Uganda. Meanwhile, Consul Abdullah Al Judi expressed his gratitude and congratulations on behalf of Uganda to all members of Team Khorshed for their humanitarian work during the Corona pandemic time.

After the exchange of views, Jeddah Consul Abdullah Al Judi handed over a congratulatory crest and a packet of Ugandan national crop coffee beans to Team Leader Councilor Maqsoodul Alam Khandaker Khorshed on behalf of all members of Team Khorshed on behalf of Uganda Ambassador Isaac Bairuma Sebulaim.

Khorshed also thanked Ambassador Isaac Bairuma Sebulaim and Consul Abdullah Al Judi and the Ugandan government, saying it was a blessing for a foreign Muslim state team to look at Khorshed. May Allah Almighty accept all the members and activities of our team. We will try our best to work for human welfare, InshaAllah.

Also present were Afroza Khandaker Luna, wife of Councilor Khorshed, Nurul Amin, a Bangladeshi business engineer based in Saudi Arabia, Md. Jamal Bhuiyan and Mohammad Mokhlesur Rahman.
