A social organization called Hirajheel Youth Society organisation has provided relief to 1,500 flood victims from 300 families in two upazilas of Moulvibazar.

On Tuesday (June 26), a team of 9 people in collaboration with Al Farooq Parishad Dakshinbhag in Baralekha and Juri Upazila distributed the relief.  As well as distributing 100 baby food.

These relief packets include 3 kg of rice, 650 gms of pulses, 1 liter of oil, 2 kg of potatoes, 1 kg of onion, half a kg of salt, 200 gms of dried chillies, 750 gms of murdi / chira, half a kg of biscuits, 2 pieces of mini soap, 3 pieces of orsaline.  , 1 leaf Napa and Metril medicine, 3 pieces of candles, 2 pieces of matches, 2 liters of water and half a kg in baby food package
Semolina, half a kg of sugar, 330 g of powdered milk were given.

In this regard, the volunteer members of the Hirajheel Youth Society said, "When we see the horrors of the floods in Sylhet in various media, we have not decided on June 16 that we will stand by the flood victims as much as we can."  To this end, in just a few days, a team of 15 of us collected funds and distributed relief in Moulvibazar.

They also said that at this moment, everyone should work in unison.  Especially when the flood waters recede, all the houses that have been flooded in the area have to work together to take appropriate measures including reconstruction.

Participated in the relief distribution activities Haresh Mamun, Naeem, Ruhul Amin, Sharif, Imran, Masum, Saddam, Babu, Palash.

It is to be mentioned that this social organization established in Hirajheel area of ​​Siddhirganj in 2012 has been conducting various public awareness activities in Hirajheel area including voluntary blood donation, distribution of winter clothes among the cold victims of northern region, standing by helpless people, cleaning activities, Iftar among children in different orphanages.
