In Narayanganj's Fatulla, 5 people including husband and wife were burnt due to gas leakage explosion. They have been admitted to the Sheikh Hasina National Institute of Burn and Plastic Surgery in the capital.
The explosion took place on the ground floor of a two-storey house adjacent to Fatullah Metro Garments at around 1 o'clock on Sunday (February 26).
The victims are garment worker Al-Amin Hossain (30), his wife Sukhi Akhtar (25), tenant of the neighboring house Aleya Begum (60) and her son Jamal Hossain (40) and mason's assistant Rafiq Mia (45).
