Narayanganj-3 MP Liakat Hossain Khoka said, today is not the day to speak. The Padma Bridge is not like expressing in our language. There have been many conspiracies at one time to prevent the Padma Bridge from being built.
He was speaking as a guest at the inauguration ceremony of the Padma Bridge at Samsuzjoha Sports Complex in Narayanganj on Saturday (June 25).
He further said that Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina, the worthy daughter of the father of our nation, has proved that everything can be achieved through honesty and determination. We are grateful to her through this event. I would also like to express my gratitude to all those involved in this project, from workers to engineers.
