Narayanganj: BNP central executive committee member and Sonargaon Thana BNP president Azharul Islam Mannan has received anticipatory bail from the high court in the case filed by the police in connection with the police-BNP clash in Narayanganj.
An anticipatory bail application was made in the court of Justice Md. Rezaul Hasan and Justice Md. Atabullah on Monday (September 12). The court granted them 6 weeks anticipatory bail.
BNP central executive committee member and Sonargaon Thana BNP president Azharul Islam Mannan, former chairman of Pirojpur Union Rafiqul Islam and Sonargaon Thana Juba Dal leader Raju Ahmed Ramzan got bail.
Barrister Ruhul Quddus Kajal, advocate Md. Mahabubur Rahman Khan and some lawyers handled the case on behalf of BNP leaders.
Advocate Md. Mahabubur Rahman Khan said, when we applied for anticipatory bail, the court granted them anticipatory bail.
