In the meeting of central leaders with Narayanganj district Chhatra Dal, former leaders were remembered and current leaders were also praised.
Leaders like Momin Ullah David, the slain former Juba Dal leader, the former district Chhatra Dal president Zakir Khan and Masuqool Islam Rajib are expected to lead the current leaders. They hope that the current leaders will lead like them or better than them.
Besides, the center has applauded the activists saying that many people including Khairul Islam Sajib, the current general secretary of the district Chhatra Dal, are doing a good job.
According to the leaders of the Center, during the Rony Sajib Committee, the Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal had the largest participation in the programs in Dhaka. Later, Manik Sajib held some leadership during the committee, but Sajib retained that leadership. Sajib's participation and activism was praised in different ways by the leaders.
On Saturday (July 2), the party held a meeting with the leaders of the district Chhatra Dal and various units of the Chhatra Dal at the party's Naya Paltan central office. Central President Kazi Raunaqul Islam Sravon and General Secretary Saif Mahmud Jewel listened to the views of the district Chhatra Dal and unit leaders.
In their speeches, the leaders highlighted various issues of the past, including the announcement of a new committee and the evaluation of the active leaders in that committee. The Central President and General Secretary listened to them attentively and gave directions to the leaders and workers of Chhatra Dal on various issues.
At the meeting, Central President Kazi Raunaqul Islam Sravon said that worthy former leaders like Mominullah David, Zakir Khan, Masuqool Islam Rajib should be followed in Narayanganj. In the future, you will give the gift of organizational, efficient, team-like or better leadership than them. Many are doing a lot of work in the organization. All those who will get positions in the future will work unitedly.
Meanwhile, Khairul Islam Sajib, general secretary of the district Chhatra Dal, said, "Our committee has been going on for four years." We want to leave leadership and handover it to the newcomers. We are lucky because we have got three central committees. We have got committees of Rajiv-Akram Bhai, Shymol Khokon Bhai and Sravon-Jewel Bhai.
On June 5, 2018, the district Chhatra Dal committee announced the central. A huge full-fledged committee of 592 members of Narayanganj District Chhatra Dal was announced on the night of March 30.
