A red bus bearing the slogan ‘Bangladesh First’ has been kept ready in front of the VIP terminal of Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport in Dhaka ahead of BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman’s onward journey.
The specially prepared bus, painted in red and green, features large portraits of BNP Chairperson Khaleda Zia, Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman and party founder Ziaur Rahman on its sides.
According to party sources, Tarique Rahman is scheduled to travel on the bus to the stage set up on the July 36 Expressway, also known as the 300-feet area, where a reception programme has been arranged to mark his return.
Meanwhile, heightened security measures were observed in and around the airport area as preparations continued for his movement to the programme venue.
