Student threatens suicide if he fails to give HSC exam

College

A student from Siddhirganj has appealed to the deputy commissioner to commit suicide if he fails the HSC exam. Tanveen Islam, a student of Giasuddin Islamic Model College in Siddhirganj, made the request to the deputy commissioner on Sunday (August 29) afternoon.

He mentioned in the application form, I am a student of 12th class science department of GiasUddin Islamic Model College (Rail No. 21172). I could not take online classes for a long time as I was sick during the coronary period. In this regard my father insulted my father after he went to the college with medical papers to request for my examination.

However, even though I did not take the online class, I submitted every assignment. But due to the absence of my online class and the insistence of arguing with my father, the college principal canceled my exam form and called me to the college and informed me that I would not be able to take the exam again this year. I then dropped out of college and broke down mentally.

Then when I met my former acquaintance Md. Deen Islam (co-editor of Narayanganj metropolis) brother, he asked me about my upset. After I told him the matter, he insulted me and went out to request the principal on my behalf.

"If I am not given a chance to take the test this year, I will have no choice but to commit suicide," he said in the application. Therefore, the student requested the deputy commissioner to allow him to participate in the examination with the opportunity to fill the form. In this regard, Tanveer Islam, a student of GiasUddin School and College, said, "Principal, I am wasting a year by focusing on a trivial argument."

Deen Islam, co-editor of Narayanganj metropolis, said, "I am urging the administration to investigate the conversation of the principal sir with me and all the video footage of the college at that time." Only then will the principal's mask be unveiled, he said.

Asked why the student's form was not allowed to be filled out, Principal Mosaddek Hossain said, "I will abide by the instructions given by the Chairman of the Board of Education."

In this regard, Narayanganj Deputy Commissioner Mostain Billah said, the application form has not reached me yet. I will take necessary action after receiving the application.

It may be mentioned that student  of Ghiyasuddin Islamic Model College (Tanveen Islam) passed GPA-5 from Gias Uddin School and College with PSC, JSC and SSC examinations.
