District Detective Police (DB) arrested two people with a foreign pistol in Rupganj of Narayanganj. A foreign pistol of 32 bore and two rounds of bullets were recovered from them.
They were arrested from Dighi Barabo area of Rupganj on Saturday (November 11).
The arrested are Md. Nayan (20), son of Camera Manik of Ward No. 6, Chanpara, Rupganj, and Md. Shahjahan (25), son of deceased Mustafa of Ward No. 4, Chanpara.
According to the police, there are a total of 6 cases including double murder case against Nayan and five cases against Shahjahan including weapons case.
District Intelligence Police (DB) Deputy Inspector (SI) Mizan said that legal proceedings against the arrested are under process.
