The police recovered the body of a Bkash agent named Atiqul Islam in Fatulla of Narayanganj.

His body was recovered from Fatulla's Aliganj Oli Hazir Doba at 10:30 am on Saturday (November 11).

The deceased is the son of Bashir Hawladar, a tenant of Iqbal Mia's house in Atiqul Aliganj area.

Bashir Howladar, father of the deceased, said that last Thursday night, another Bkash agent named Samrat called Atiqul to pay Tk 50,000. Since then, Atiqul has been missing. After calling Atiqul several times on the night of the disappearance, he answered the phone once and said that I am at the party.

He assumed that the killers took his money as a hostage, stabbed him in the throat and stomach and threw Atiqul into the sink.

He also said that on the night of the disappearance, I went to Fatulla Model Police Station to make a GD. Police did not take GD that night. Later on Friday morning I went and did GD. We want arrest and trial of the killers.

Officer-in-Charge (OC) of Fatulla Model Police Station Noore Azam said that the body was recovered and sent to Victoria General Hospital morgue for autopsy. The matter is under investigation. Details will be given later.
