Narayanganj District Awami League General Secretary Abu Hasnat Shaheed Md. Badal said, we have come here to protect the peace of the people. We talked to people on the sidewalks during the last siege, they said we want elections. BNP should leave the blockade and chaos and come to the elections.
He said this at a peace rally in front of the district Awami League office on Thursday (November 9).
He said, our peace rally will continue. Called by the district Awami League in each union, we want to create a center-based election campaign team. We are working according to that plan.
